Principal's Message
Welcome to Richmond County Technical Career Magnet School: Home of the White Tigers!
Our vision is to provide each student with an abundance of L.O.V.E. - Learning,
Opportunities, Values and Excellence. Our mission is to educate, inspire and prepare the
students of today to become the skilled professionals of tomorrow. We believe that success is
a habit, not a destination. It results from repeatedly working hard, extensive preparation, and
learning from disappointments.
I feel extremely fortunate to be the principal of a school with such wonderful students, a
motivated and dedicated staff, and parents who work with us to create an environment that
facilitates student learning. Our faculty and staff are committed to providing the most
rewarding education possible; and making the process of learning an enjoyable experience.
We look forward to working together with you to make your student’s educational and social
experience a positive one.
At Richmond County Technical Career Magnet School, we believe that education is a
partnership between students, school, home, district leadership and community. This year
we are focused on three key priorities:
- Student Achievement: Increase the number of students scoring Proficient and above on GA Milestones by enhancing the rigor of classroom instruction by 3%.
- Climate and Culture: Decrease student referrals by focusing on improvement of student behavior by 3%.
- Student Agency: Establish student-directed learning behaviors, observed weekly by teachers.
We encourage all families and stakeholders to stay connected and involved. We welcome you
to attend our events, join our organizations and communicate regularly with teachers and
administrators. We value your voice and appreciate your support in increasing student
